Pork Bulgogi

Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb pork loin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp minced garlic

Instructions

  • Freeze 1 1/2 pork loin for 2 hours.
  • Cut pork into thin strips against the grain.
    Trim fat.
  • Place pork in container.
  • Mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp rice vinegar and 2 tsp minced garlic in container.
  • Marinate for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Heat a skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Render fat for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Add pork in batches to skillet.
  • Cook pork for 1 minute on each side (or less).
  • When all pork is cooked, add leftover marinade to skillet.
  • Cook on high heat to reduce into sauce.
  • Optional: add soy sauce, rice vinegar, cooking wine or mirin before removing from heat.
