Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • salt

Instructions

  • Melt 1 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butter in 15 second intervals in microwave. Stir in between.
  • Whisk 1/2 cup sugar and 2 room temperature eggs.
    Vigorously mix to incorporate air.
  • Whisk chocolate into sugar.
  • Sift 2/3 cup flour, 2 tsp cornstarch and 1/2 tsp baking soda into chocolate.
  • Mix chocolate.
  • Scoop 2 tbsp sized balls onto baking stone.
  • Optional: Press chocolate chips into balls.
  • Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
  • Transfer to cooling wrack.
  • Garnish with salt.
