
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs room temperature
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- salt
Instructions
- Melt 1 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips and 1/4 cup butter in 15 second intervals in microwave. Stir in between.
- Whisk 1/2 cup sugar and 2 room temperature eggs.Vigorously mix to incorporate air.
- Whisk chocolate into sugar.
- Sift 2/3 cup flour, 2 tsp cornstarch and 1/2 tsp baking soda into chocolate.
- Mix chocolate.
- Scoop 2 tbsp sized balls onto baking stone.
- Optional: Press chocolate chips into balls.
- Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
- Transfer to cooling wrack.
- Garnish with salt.
