
Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon
Crust
- 4 strips bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 sprigs green onion
Glaze
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Pat dry the salmon.
- Mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp ginger and 1/2 tsp sesame oil.
- Baste salmon with sauce; reserve some for final step.
- Chop 1/2 cup walnuts in food processor.
- Mix 4 strips of bacon crumbles, 1/2 cup walnuts and 2 sprigs diced green onions.
- Press mixture on top of salmon.
- Baste salmon with remaining sauce.
- Bake for 16 minutes.
