Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon

Crust

  • 4 strips bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 sprigs green onion

Glaze

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Pat dry the salmon.
  • Mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 3 cloves minced garlic, 2 tsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp ginger and 1/2 tsp sesame oil.
  • Baste salmon with sauce; reserve some for final step.
  • Chop 1/2 cup walnuts in food processor.
  • Mix 4 strips of bacon crumbles, 1/2 cup walnuts and 2 sprigs diced green onions.
  • Press mixture on top of salmon.
  • Baste salmon with remaining sauce.
  • Bake for 16 minutes.
