Chinese Beef

Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 5 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • green onions
  • seaseme seeds

Instructions

  • Heat a skillet on medium-high heat.
  • Sear 1 1/2 lbs ground beef.
  • Add 5 cloves minced garlic and 1 tbsp ginger.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add 3 tbsp honey and 1 tsp hot sauce.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup beef broth and 1/2 cup soy sauce.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Optional; serve with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Original recipe used ground chicken.
