Honey Pecan Shrimp
Ingredients
Breaded Shrimp

panko breadcrumbs

flour

egg

water

Honey Pecan Sauce
3/4
cup
honey
1/2
cup
crushed pecans
4
tbsp
heavy whipping cream
2
tsp
rice vinegar
Instructions
Breaded Shrimp
Mix 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper on a plate.
Mix 1 egg and 1 tbsp water in a cup.
Place 1 cup panko bread crumbs on another plate.
Pat dry the shrimp.
Heat coconut oil in cast iron skillet to fully submerge shrimp.
Roll shrimp in flour, dip in egg and roll in bread crumbs.
Fry shrimp for 1 1/2 - 2 minute (or less).
Place on wire rack.
Honey Pecan Sauce
Whisk 3/4 cup honey, 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream and 2 tsp rice vinegar in sauce pan.
Heat mixture on medium-low heat for 10+ minutes.
Stir often.
Add smashed pecans.
Cook for additional 3 minutes.
Notes
Sauce is amazing!! Would work great on chicken, salmon, pork, sweet potatoes, roasted carrots, brussel sprouts, green beans or ice cream!!!
